St. Matthew Parish School is a private, Catholic preschool through 8th-grade school located in Glendale Heights. The school is registered with, and has received formal recognition from, the Illinois State School Board of Education. The school has also received a Certificate of Accreditation by the NCA Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.
Our well educated faculty come from all walks of life and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom. Each one of our teachers cares for their students and works hard following the curriculum set forth by the Diocese of Joliet to offer a rigorous and enriching education. Our curriculum spirals from preschool through eighth grade.
Our program offers cross-curriculum and authentic learning experiences which meet the differentiated needs of all our learners. Our curriculum includes English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and Religion throughout all subject areas. To enhance our school day, we offer Physical Education, Spanish, Music, and Art. We are also a one-to-one school from kindergarten through eighth grade and technology is infused into our curriculum, so our students use it in practical application on a daily basis.
