Discover our School - St. Matthew Parish School

We are very proud of our school, our faculty and support staff, and most of all, our student body. For over 50 years St. Matthew Parish School has provided many wonderful activities for our students.

Our strong academic program along with sound Catholic teachings and traditions continue to be active and vital to the Glendale Heights community.

We offer many programs that assist students and their families in the world of academics, fine arts and sports. It would be my pleasure to give you a tour of our school. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.

Mrs. Regina Pestrak, Principal

St. Matthew Parish School Offers $1,500 Off of Tuition to Transfer Students

St. Matthew Parish School is pleased to offer a Tuition Transfer Grant to any family who transfers their child into grades Kindergarten through 7 from any private*, public, charter or home school. This two-year grant, $1,000 in year one and $500 in year two, will be applied to offset the current school tuition.

St. Matthew Parish School is proud to provide many stimulating academic experiences for our students. We have created a blended curriculum at each grade level which is balanced through projects, classroom work and various forms of assessment. Students are also offered extracurricular learning opportunities such as Art, Band, Choir, Chess Club, Math Club, Drama Club and Athletics to access multiple intelligences and to thrive in a non-traditional academic course.

For more information and a tour, please call our Principal, Mrs. Gina Pestrak, at 630-858-3112.

*Students transferring from another Catholic school within the Diocese of Joliet, Archdiocese of Chicago, or Diocese of Rockford are not eligible.

Their story can begin here…

Choosing a school is an important decision for your family.  It is where your child’s story begins!  Here at SMPS we understand that every family is unique – as is every child – but our goals are all the same:  To educate the whole child.  We invite you to join us for the journey!

We encourage you to visit us to see for yourself how things run at SMPS and to feel the sense of community from the moment you walk in the front door!  Come hear about the exciting things that have been happening in our Preschool & Kindergarten rooms this year — next year is bound to be just as exciting, maybe even more!!
